It is with a heavy heart that I announce Karate Do will be closing its doors at the end of June. This has been an extremely difficult decision for me and one that I have given great consideration. In the end, due to the ever rising cost of running a business, I can no longer maintain the status quo.

It has been a pleasure being your sensei, each and every student has made it so. I have watched many of you grow from Little Ninjas to college students and I have seen karate students blossom into true warriors over the last fifteen years. I have also enjoyed getting to know your families and I will miss absolutely everyone and wish you all the very best going forward.

As for me, the last fifteen years have been an incredible journey. I have learned so much about the martial arts, life, and myself through working with all of you. Memories of this dojo will remain with me forever, especially those moments where students have truly touched my soul. Each and every one of you will always be in my heart.

Please come to as many classes as you like during the month of June. And, please join me for a farewell party on June 30th between 5:30 and 7:30.

Sincerely, Sensei Pat
